Candidates: 100,000 DU'ers demand withdrawal litmus test. Does it make a difference? |
|
Would 100,000 strong have the ability, if acting in concert, to make the top 3 candidates PLEDGE to withdraw from Iraq during their term?

In the context of 160 million or so voting-age Americans, 100k probably wouldn't be enough to sway Congress.
Besides, the 100k is total members ever, including trolls, multiple sign-in names, former members, etc. I'd be surprised if the active number is even one-tenth of that.

One does tend to see a lot of the same faces.
Edit: we'd probably also need to define the term "active". :)

6. All I can say is that Bill Richardson is moving up |
|
in the early primary states on the basis of his withdrawal plans. All I can suggest is start supporting someone who will do it. Then watch.
