Don't forget: Tavis Smiley's All American Presidential Debate with the Republicans is tonight
Just a reminder that Tavis Smiley's All American Presidential Debate with the Republicans is tonight.

And what a visual it will be! None of the front-runners for the Republican nomination will be there; some of the 2nd/3rd tier candidates will be, though.

Tavis has said that he will still have the empty podiums to represent the Republican front-runners who won't be there. The podiums will be there just in case they change their mind and at the last minute decide to show up.

I hope the Democratic Party (and especially the Democratic nominee next year) uses that visual over and over again. Someone needs to take a slew of still pictures/screen captures of those empty podiums, and them use them ad naseum.

2. Of Course the Downside is More Duncan Hunter, Tancredo, etc.....
Maybe John McCain will tell a few jokes! (Remember John, most Repubs do not have a sense of humor)

13. Sorry...you said "why would......." So, out of curiosity, do you believe they should not?
Do you believe they are correct in not dialoging with African-Americans?

5. They're Americans, you snit
That's right, I called you a snit. Black people aren't genetically Democratic. They're delusional, but there really are African American Republicans.

7. Yah. Black ones. And they're republicans. There's only barely more reason for them...
Edited on Thu Sep-27-07 06:49 PM by BlooInBloo
... to talk to a black person as there is for David Duke.

EDIT: What exactly IS a "snit", anyway? lol!

8. I made that word up.
It popped into my head and it sounded right for the situation. If I must define it, it means "someone who should be lightly slapped in the back of the head."

10. Maybe Rudy, Mitt, Freddie and Johnny
...are afraid the African Americans in the audience are gonna dress like Ludacris and ask for some "M-Fer" answer to their BLACK questions!!:sarcasm:

O, O'Liely....your racism pretty well sums up how most of the Repugs feel about minorities, I just gotta use your Sylvia's example!
