But they won't.

And we all know how much attention the media paid to the Moveon.org "controversy." Their excuse for covering this non-story is, well the republicans made it an issue and all we do is cover it.

Well, now the Democrats are clearly making Rush's comments an issue, so the media by their own standard should pay at least equal attention to it.

But they won't.

Don't even get me started about the right-wing pundits...

Tell me, could anything have exposed how fake the Moveon.org "controversy" better than the way Rush just did?

There has never -- not for one moment -- been a 'liberal' press in this country. There are times when it as been less right-wing than at other times, but there has NEVER been a time when our national press was not biased in favor of the right wing of the Republican Party.

Had the press been biased to the left in 1935, the right wing could not have gotten away unpunished when it tried to overthrow the US government and install a fascist dictatorship. Nor would Smirk Bush have been able to lie our nation into an unjust and immoral war.

Had the press been biased to the left in 1952, Harry Truman would not have become the least popular president ever, not would Jimmy Carter have been made to look like a bozo, nor would the only presidential impeachment in the 20th Century have been for a blow job.

The press belongs to the plutocrats. There has been NO pro left-wing press in this country excepting the "The Nation" and the occasional "Ramparts", "See It Now", or "Countdown."
