Poll question: Hypothetical Gore- Kucinich Primary |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-28-07 08:53 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
I'm just trying to get a handle on where DU's , more or less, collective head is at...
In a hypothetical primary between Dennis Kucinich and Al Gore who would you vote for?

...I'd hope he'd then take DK as VP!

3. Gore is partially responsible for NAFTA, WTO |
|
I don't understand why everyone is behind him, when he was involved in shipping our jobs overseas where they don't exactly have environmental concerns in their manufacturing. It makes no sense.

Yeah, fair trade vs. the current free trade is quite a huge issue. I support Kucinich here. |

5. I wonder how Gore-Obama-Clinton-Edwards would turn out |
|
in a hypothetical contest.
I support DK right now, but if Gore ran I would support Gore. Gore isn't running so I'm very happy with DK.

6. In this case I would actually take |
|
Al Gore, but like others before me I would then like to see Kucinich as VP.

I think Gore would be a stronger candidate in the general election.

8. Went with Kucinich. Happy enough with Al Gore but not really a Gore |
|
Democrat.
If Gore enters the race he isn't going to have trouble attracting funds and support.
Kucinich always battles without money and is fueled only by his commitment to the ideals that define him.
I'd vote for Gore in any general election, certainly.
But head-to-head, I'm more a Kucinich voter than a Gore voter.

If Gore actually got in the race I would look at him. He is much different than he was when he ran before so I would give him a fair look but I am guessing I would still stay with Kucinich.
