What would Giuliani be without 9/11?
In thinking about the likely competition from the GOP in 2008,
It's probable enough that Rudy Giuliani will be our adversary
in the general election next year. I believe we need to be
thinking
about the competition and pursuing avenues to prepare do
whatever
it takes to keep him out of the White House.
My first thoughts about countering Giuliani are mainly
attacking his
credentials. As my subject suggests, What would Rudy G. be
without 9/11?
He and the Bush administration have both made their living
from the
"fear factor" which has been rooted in the fallout
from 9/11 and several
much less significant terror scenarios.
We need to drive home the fact with the electorate that life
is going on
despite a terrible incident which happened over six years ago.
The more
9/11 can be deemphasized without disrespecting that event, the
harder it
will be for Giuliani to grow politically and gain steam for
his campaign.
The bottom line is that Giuliani is little more than a name
without 9/11.

who had bitter race relations during his term as Mayor.

Wait, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that.

I meant to say an uncultured buffoon.

9. Pretty much negative consensus on Rudy
After reading several replies to Giuliani's popularity by
DUers,
the consensus is that he is largely considered to be a
hypocritical
loser with a lot of ugly personal baggage.

12. Nowhere. It's his middle name.
"Rudy 9-11 Giuliani".

He probably thinks it's a national festival.
