Not only is Dubya a phony, but so is his ranch. It's set up like a movie set. Just look at the bails of hay, set up strictly for decoration. If you look closely, they've got green grass growing through them cause they've been sitting there for so long. Something you wouldn't see on a real ranch.
Watch for Bush, after he leaves office, to high tail it up to Kenebunkport, where his clan really resides.....

He has already said that he was buying a home in Dallas, would probably go on the spealing circuit to "Fill up the ol' coffers."
All I can say is the rest of you are gonna prove yourselves to be dumbest of the lot if you EVER put another Texan in the Whitehouse again. Between LBJ & GWB this nation cannot take much more.

As a Texan, not the real kind of Texan, mind you, but the fake kind, I don't know who we might have to offer as candidates for high office. But I can tell you that Texas is a much more liberal minded state than people give us credit for.
I saw more Dubya stickers on windshields in Chicago than I do down here.
Texans are too independent.
God Bless Texas.
ps: Dallas can have him.

voted in Armey, DeLay, Cradditch, Perry....ad nauseum. Gave Dubya 60%+ each time fro prez. Yeppers we sure as hell ar librul minded down here in these parts. Damn, I'm just out of Houston, the most liberal place in Texas and it's just 40 miles from more KKK than Mississippi ever had.
Part of our problem in Texas is we believe our myths exist instead of working to make them exist.

OK,,, so our record is not so great. But my point was that I found Texans to be a much more open minded state than people give us credit for. Now I can't speak for the entire state, but if you look at places like Austin, a good bastion of liberalism you get my idea. But taking it a step further, I live in San Antonio and have not yet met a single neo-conner. And if you want to get at the heart of the matter here in San Anton,,, read our editorial section, that saids alot. We are fed up and ready for change.
On my end, I see the winds of change blowing. It's in the Democrats hands now. If they can make a good showing in the house and Senate, and put a worthy candidate in office as president, I think the Democratic party will have the opportunity to gain a lot of momentum in Texas.....
I for one am looking forward to putting a Biden/Obama bumper stick on the back of my truck....
ps.. The last neo-conner I met was my dad in Texas. But he's now reformed.

23. What stupid things did LBJ do in your opinion? |
|
He did not start the Vietnam conflict although he did escalate it on advice given him by his war dept. After realizing his mistake he decided he would not run for re-election. Except for that escalation what stupid things did he do? I think he did wonderful things but that is only my opinion..

The arrogant rich boy from the old Dobie Gillis show. I bet the cowboy stuff was thought up by Karl Rove.

For Numnutz' sake, it's probably just as well.
I wonder if the George W. Bush Liberry will follow the lead of Roy Rogers' museum and feature a stuffed-and-mounted horse? Or a stuffed-and-mounted Karl Rove, at least?
On edit: I forgot about a stuffed-and-mounted DICK Cheney, and a stuffed-and-mounted JimmyJeff. The coffee hadn't kicked in yet.

Here we have Dididereaux the faux cajun living in the swamplands, and a Swamprat both doing pretty good politial 'chop & hack' grapjics. Most folks probably are unawares we damp ones spend a good deal of time in our own company....then again maybe they do and that's why we do! lol
