NOW is the time to change direction.

But, it's like we just ASSUME that the party will pick the candidates for us - except for President. We'll argue ENDLESSLY on who runs for President.

This is primary season. Not just for President, but for EVERY House seat and ONE THIRD of the Senate seats.

How come DU isn't full of posts examining the alternatives?

Well, remember in 2006 how we were told we needed CENTRIST candidates? If they don't meet our liberal criteria, well too bad. Think of the bigger picture. We need to take the House and the Senate no matter what!

So...how's that working out?

1. I am examining my local and state alternatives.
So far, there's really not a lot out there on local stuff yet.

Some can push their "gotta pick a centrist," "the best candidate/s aren't ELECTABLE" propaganda until they're blue in the face or down for the count. The only effect is to irritate me, and lessen my level of respect.

5. I posted a lot in '04 about Salazar, and got royally flamed, and it was allowed.
Now look at how Salazar has turned out.

No, I'm sick and tired of the shit we get for voicing our opinions, and trying to give people actual INFORMATION instead of astro-turf.

DU makes it easy for astro-turfers to silence people.
