James Connaughton opened his mouth and lied about things nuclear

on Wash. Journal this morning.

he said: if you don't support bldg. more nuke plants then you are not "serious" about climate change - lie

and he said current plants don't give off too much radiation - lie

he never once mentioned nuclear waste

no caller asked about nuclear waste

apparently there is a recently signed contract between us and some other country for them to build something like 70 odd nuke plants here.

he spoke various other lies

we see more and more shilling for new nuke plants. got to fill some barons pockets.

total madness

1. The Republicans are anxious to autorize the building of nuclear plants
before Bush leaves office. The burden of disposing of the nuclear waste, like our national debt, will be left to our children and grand-children. They'll be dead. What do they care? This shows just how low the Republicans have sunk.
