Could Gore pursue the Republican nomination?
If he pursued it and got the nomination, who would he choose as his running mate?

Is it Barney, the President's Scottish Terrier?

3. Jack swapped the family cow for beans he believed were magic.
Edited on Sat Sep-29-07 10:43 PM by Old Crusoe
He lucked out -- that's one version. The beans WERE magic and great adventure ensued.

The transacton doomed him -- that's another version. Half his family died without the cow and the rest had to sell out and move to Bangladesh where, even as we speak this evening, they are standing at the side of the river, buck naked, scrawny and starving, moaning deliriously about the gods' cruelty.

13. No. He's not a native of Mars, and the Martian Constitution
requires that he be born on the planet in order to be the President.

Fortunately, John Sununu and Mitch McConnell appear to be wingless.

20. If that happened, I assume he would choose as his running mate
any one of the able monkeys that flew out of his butt at the very moment he announced his Republican candidacy. :P

22. If pigs could fly, which airport would they land at first?
On second thoughts - people as liberal as Gore have been elected as Conservative leaders in some Europaean countries...

If Gore got the Republican nomination, he would presumably have to choose someone on the far-right of the party to balance the ticket. Santorum? Gingrich? Jeb Bush ... argh, I think I'll give up this fantasy!

23. I'm sure this isn't a serious suggestion, but i'll bite anyway 1) Gore wouldn't want the GOP
nomination 2) Do you actually think that Republican primary voters--many of the extreme right--fundie bent--would vote for Al Gore?
