No surprise he never asks questions or authors opinions.
There's very little there there.
I wonder how he justifies his narrow, backwards view of the Constitution, the Equal Protection Clause in particular, given all the racial discrimination and prejudices he claims to have been pesonally subjected to.

get it for several hours, but if it's two hours of Thomas, I ain't watching yet my guide only lists Thomas as being on.

28. Steve Croft (CBS) is doing their best to make Thomas look good. |
|
The way he allowed Thomas to dismiss Anita Hill as a liar. As I remember it, weren't there other women who came forward at the time who told the same story about him as Anita Hill?

With all his ranting against Liberals in his book, I can't believe he's actually a sitting Supreme Court judge. He doesn't even pretend to be impartial.

|
CBS, we at DU, nobody has to agree with Clarence Thomas to listen to what he has to say. To only listen and read our own beliefs is very small indeed. Do some of you really expect 60 Minutes to ONLY interview people with whom WE agree with? And when they don't - they're "scum?" That's all so silly.

this freak Thomas is on because he has a book to push. 60 Minutes has gone so far to hell it's not worth a dime anymore. Think of all the stories they SHOULD do and don't. Then there's their poorly done sports stories and anything Leslie Stool ... er, Stahl ... gets her hands on. How about two hours on election fraud, Lez? Nah, gotta go interview Alan Alda or Pavarotti or some other info-tainment horseshit. There's more revealing news on the Simpsons.

24. To those who won't watch |
|
Hey, I disagree with this guy as much as anyone here. But....I hate it when I read people at DU say they won't watch or listen to any Republican/conservative, whatever. To me, if you can't listen to what those who you oppose have to say, it shows a certain smallness. It's petty to act like there's something wrong with simply watching an interview with a member of the Supreme Court. If we get to where we only watch, listen, read, etc. to those with whom we agree - we will all seem to become kool-aid drinking robots who can't stand up and be challenged, accept it, refute it and go on. But, to just watch an interview is somehow.....wrong? I find that sad and rather immature. Just my opinion - so - flame away.
