Almost makes me want to run out and get my Joe Biden For President signs. It is astonishing that a Supreme Court Justice would refer to a sitting Senator as a lying hypocrite.’ Cont…

2. Well--calling someone a lying hypocrite is not defamation--
Calling him a drunk, or a philanderer, would be defamation. Either way, I don't think anyone looks to Clarence Thomas for accurate character judgment--and I'll bet Biden couldn't care less what he says. He's a big boy, he can take it.

4. I Wondered Because Thomas Is Referencing That Slur
in terms of Biden's job as a senator and committee chair and is as good as saying he lied and cheated. Didn't know if it comes up to the level of a lawsuit. As for Biden, my expectation is that he'll come out swinging, a guy running for prez can't let such words go unchallenged.

3. We have a justice on the Supreme Court with a huge CHIP on his shoulder
I noticed he said after the Hill allegations came out that he had to go back for the second round of "attacks". So he viewed his confirmation hearing as an attack instead of a bunch of questions he must answer?

5. Yeah, and 16 years later he's still not over it.
I think he feels his sexual come-ons to an uninterested employee were no one's business, and how dare they question his behavior. He really needs to get over it and move on. He won the whole stinking mess of a battle anyway. He's a sore winner and a whiner.

6. Clarence Thomas calling someone a hypocrite is like....
Sorry. I couldn't come up with a powerful enough simile.

Thomas is the ZEUS of hypocrites.
