Does CBS have any monetary gains by doing long stories on Thomas and Greenspan?

Does CBS have any monetary gains by doing long stories on Thomas and Greenspan?
Sixty Minutes has done long stories just before books by Justince Clarence Thomas and Ex-Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan came out. Both profiles put both Thomas and Greenspan in a mostly positive light and didn't ask hard questions of either. Does CBS have a financial interest in their books?

1. Clarence Thomas's publisher is owned by cBS
Greenspan - don't think so.

3. HarperCollins is owned by News Corp, not CBS.
Greenspan's book was published by Penguin -- no CBS ownership either.
