Craig remains in Senate

From NBC’s Ken Strickland
It appears Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) will remain in the Senate for at least a few more days. Early last month, his Washington spokesman said Craig "intends" to resign his seat on Sept. 30 unless charges stemming from the bathroom incident in Minnesota could be cleared before then.

While a hearing on the matter took place last week, the judge isn't expected to rule until later this week. .........

Did Craig Tap His Foot to Keep the Beat?

The Singing Senators - where are they now?

A decade ago, the quartet called the Singing Senators was on top of the world. In 1998 the group—bass Trent Lott, tenor James Jeffords, baritone John Ashcroft, and lead vocalist Larry Craig—released an album, Let Freedom Sing, after three years of singing at GOP fundraisers. They’d appeared on the Today show and rehearsed harmoniously in Lott’s Senate hideaway.

Recent years haven’t been as kind. Ashcroft lost ....

Things were looking up for the barbershop singing group earlier this year when three of the four original voices—Craig, Lott, and Ashcroft—reunited for the first time in six years .....

With Craig now a party outcast, the group will probably never again sing an encore of “God Bless America.”

2. LOL..what a comical thought. When Craig's term is up,??? I bet he
doesn't get re-elected. Maybe he'll just announce his retirement fo rthe purpose of dignity, if there's any left.
What an embarrassment he must be to his State.
