Is DU Worldwide?? Can we communicate with DU Germany

..Just wondering how many other Countries feel as Germany, for one, does about drafting Al Gore for President 2008....
Does DU have separate boards in other countries? Can we contact them?

1. there is a "democrats abroad" forum and one for a couple of countries...

...but not Germany specifically. Perhaps DUers in Germany might petition the admins to establish one? Look in the state and country forums.

Make it a worldwide write-in campaign..Make Bush's Base, that stuck the liar in our White House, hear loud and clear that the Favorite is STILL VP Al Gore.

I'd like the Bush admin. to hear it from everywhere in the world.

5. But doesn't the administration and the republicans often turn "worldwide" calls

for certain actions into propaganda against that thing? I seem to remember the US media reporting Europe's support of Kerry and then turning it into a rally cry for Bush.
If "they" support Kerry over there, "we" here in America shouldn't support what foreigners want.

I hope this doesn't sound too convoluted, but it does seem a worldwide cry for Gore could backfire.

6. You may be correct on this....not sure either as to how the

international promotion may work against us on this matter. Best to find out first.
Maybe foreign DUers could find another way of promoting Al Gore w/out exactly stating the 2008 Presidency..
Something like.."Awaiting a New Leader of the Free World..(Al Gore's Photo)"
or posing it as a news statement.."World counting on USA voters to choose a true leader."

Point to this is to make a lot of noise in the media of many countries, promoting Al Gore, and making sure the US media hears about it..Make enough noise that it cannot be ignored by the US media.
Duers in the US will not do the promoting..that will begin with DUers organizing in other countries.
The US gov't cannot hold them accountable for this, in that case.
