Seven presidents nobody remembers (Mental Floss/CNN) {Oh, if only...}
If only Bu**sh** were the forgettable nobody he deserves to be, and not a disaster we can never afford to forget ... read the list, for a small chuckle break amidst the despair.

By Christopher Connolly

Mental Floss

(Mental Floss) -- We don't recall ever seeing them on our coins, stamps, or monuments, but we're told the following seven men were once president of the United States. Go figure!

Herbert Hoover (President #31, 1929--1933)

Martin Van Buren (President #8, 1837--1841)

Warren Harding (President #29, 1921--1923)

1. Sadly, Bush* will be infamous for centuries to come...
(assuming the US survives that long, which is certainly not a given, thanks to GWB and his cronies)

2. Mental Floss is the coolest magazine!
I keep it in the bathroom for the teenagers to read. It's extremely educational.

5. I've met the guy who started Mental Floss
He graduated from the high school my son goes to. He's a bright and interesting young man. I love the magazine.

4. Republican presidents are mostly forgettable.
In fact, the only GOP presidents that have positive legacies are the ones who were the most like Democrats, e.g., Lincoln, TR, Ike.

6. Hoover? Forgotten?
Oh, yeah, that's how we ended up rolling back the stuff FDR put in place to fix Hoover's policies.
