Watching A Whore At Work (Chuck Grassley)

C-Span 2 is showing the Senate in morning business and Grassley is giving a speech that is astonishing in how inane it is until you realize that he could not possibly have any other reason for giving it than to get funding for an abandon program that has been proven to be ineffective. Somebody's paycheck got cut off and he's there to get it back. He's bitching about the loss of Nancy Reagan's "Just say No" campaign to whatever cartoon they have on TV now. It is a sick display of a man who has clearly sold himself out to the highest bidder no matter how much of the nation's time and treasure he wastes doing it.
