Temperatures will be in the 80's all week long
And, as high as 87 on Thursday. I live in Kansas City and a lover of fall and winter. Is there anyone else affected by this unusually high record temps?

1. Relief is upstream
it's only getting to the low 70s here in central NM over the next couple of days.

I think summer's outstayed its welcome, too. I'm looking forward to wearing my woollies.

22. Yes. But, we've had some hot, very dry, years too.
This one seemed milder than the previous ones. And, we've had mild winters lately.

7. Hot and dry in northeast TN
August was the hottest August on record as well as the driest for this area. September temps were above normal, and it was the second driest on record. We'll be in the 80's all week (mid to upper 80's the latter part of the week).

11. Right on target in DC area.
In fact, this morning, I about froze my nuts off on my ride into work. Just not acclimatized to the lower temps...last week, we were in the 90's.

19. Been warmer than average here lately
But I'm not all that far from you, I'm in eastern Iowa, and it sounds like next week it is going to cool off a lot, possibly highs in the 60's. When the NLDS and (hopefully) the NLCS get to Chicago, it will undoubtedly get cooler.
GO CUBS!

in the beautiful Green Mtns of Vermont....upper 70's forecast for the week and mid 80's by weekend. Colors are still gorgeous but will not be as intense without a hard frost! Sept was warmer than average as well.

21. It has been warm here, too. And the leaves aren't doing their thing.
We have a little yellow, but not much. We'll check out the mountains this weekend. How about KC? As I recall, they started changing just after school started. We used to live in PV.
