Giuliani's Most Persuasive Argument To Conservatives Is That He Can Beat HC. But What If...
It is the one reason those so called values voters would vote for him. But what if she isn't the dem nominee and they have bought a pig in a poke? Will they for sure start that 3rd party or just stay home? Either way the dems are the beneficiaries.

1. Two self-procalimed NY 'centrists' are not...
... going to excite the GOP base appreciably, I'm thinking.

I see a serious third party movement in the offing.... possibly a *successful* one if Gingrich agrees to lead it.

2. They ran that race - Clinton vs. Rudy and Rudy lost so badly and so
early that he exited the race when his poll numbers were falling and hers were rising and let Rick Lazio go down in flames in his place.

3. Yes They Did
But what if he has based his recent campaign on a false argument? He says they should choose him because he's the only one who can beat her now (a lot of revisionist history going on there). What if it turns out that Hillary isn't the dem nominee? Where does that leave with the republicons and Rudy himself?

4. The Religious Right is nuts enough to run their own person
They can't afford to lose control of the Republican party and they will do anything to try to get that control back. I think Rudy is toast now! We may be seeing someone like Huckabee in a better position to take the nomination though he would get trounced in a National Election.
