Barnes & Noble has been the front and center sponsor for Cyst Boy's web site for years now. I have written them numerous times, but they would rather sell Ann Coulter's books in quantity than stand on principle against the worst hatemonger and ridiculer of the honest exchange of ideas of our time. A bookseller! PLEASE don't patronize Barnes & Noble. You can check Rush's site for yourself; look at the bottom of the page. If you can stand it.

1. B&N Is One Of The Bluest Companies Around And Probably Buys Bulk Internet Ad Time
And doesn't realize their ads are appearing on the fat slobs website. A letter writing campaign to B&N would probably be effective since they ARE a blue company and they would probably agree to insisting their ads not appear on the drug addled perverts site.

4. I always thought Barnes and Noble
was Blue, too, and would love to write them a letter from New York.

5. Water doesn't put money in Rush's pocket or keep him on the air or on-line.
C'mon.

6. So let's boycott the power grid
Because that is keeping him and his servers online as well. Not to mention the internet. We need to boycott the internet!!! And radio waves!!! And everybody who makes FM radios!! And the people who make the transistors that go in the radios!!!

B&N is 98% blue or something like that. It's a silly target!

7. Check the link. Do as you please.
Boycotts are voluntary things. You decide your own self what's "silly," and let the rest of us judge for ourselves. So spend away.

Please don't bother to post again to me. I prefer rationality. And fewer exclamation points.

9. It's irrational to boycott a company because of a banner ad.

Instead of whining about the tone about my post, why don't you focus on the content of it. The fact that you're running away from the argument seems to say something in my mind.

8. Let's not drink Snapple™
I feel old, but I started my boycott of all products Rush was pushing back in the eighties. I haven't touched Snapple™, one of his first sponsors, since then. Heck, for all I know, Snapple™ may not even be connected with the asshole anymore, but I still boycott the product.

10. Thank you. That's the point.
It's apparently difficult, but a product boycott is a legitimate form of protest.

Some have apparently never heard of Cesar Chavez on this site. Sad.

12. Does Barnes & Noble advertise on any liberal websites?
Edited on Tue Oct-02-07 08:46 PM by impeachdubya
I bet they do.

They're a bookseller. Dipshit McOxyass writes "books", after a fashion.

Sorry, unless I see more incriminating evidence beyond a B&N ad on Rush's site, this is like the people who were bent out of shape because Costco was selling Coulter's book. Nevermind that Costco (or Barnes & Noble) are very Blue companies.

I hate to have to repeat it, but at least for me,

CENSORSHIP IS NOT A "LIBERAL" VALUE.
