Help me, please, before I smash my XM! |
|
I decided this morning to give Lionel one more chance on AAR on my XM. What is he talking about and does anyone listen to him?? Does he ever have a subject that makes any sense? And most important- WHEN IS AAR GOING TO DUMP HIM AND GIVE SAM HIS SHOW BACK??? AAR must be going under for the 3rd and last time! I am sitting here screaming at my XM! :banghead:

2. For all his protestations otherwise.... |

this guy is a sexist jerk... He may be saying all the right things re: sexual harrassment technically, but his implication to the contrary is there...
But, the bigger picture is why he is taking all this time to discuss that case. It is supposed to be a political show and given all the crises we face--blackwater mercenaries testifying, Iran and the admin's lies re: Sy Hersch, to start....
I detest him, but my radio was on 167 when I got out of the shower and I was slow to change it as I got dressed.

when Lionel is on. (Sometimes Bob Edwards on 133.)
I've tried him several times, and can't stay more than a few minutes. The grating whiny Joe Pesci-ish delivery is bad enough. He uses (but usually misuses/mispronounces) "big" words to make his listeners think he's some kind of intellectual. He has a huge ego, but a lot of radio talkers do. Some of the things he chooses to talk about make no sense or are in the "who cares?" category.
AAR: How are those ratings working for you? I want Sam back.

I have XM and don't subject myself to political talk shows. I use XM for jazz, new age and classical pieces. And in November the holiday music!!!
Life is too short to listen to talk radio. It just clogs the arteries.
MHO.

My musical tastes are all over the map. I can't get 169, because I listen online only. XM is awesome!

Doesn't pay to smash the radio. I mostly listen to Cinemagic and the Comedy Channels.
