Trouble in the Green Zone

CNN.com is reporting that there was a mortar attack yesterday in Iraq. This attack happened in the green zone. There is a link to the story below.

2. the BBC reported that there are

DAILY mortar attacks inside the green zone, with casualties in 50% of the attacks. no one is allowed outside without a helmet or body armor.

The idea that Iran is supplying the technology for IEDs is incredible. The US military published a book in 1965 on how to build penetrating, anti-armor IEDs, and 6 different ways to detonate them. in 1965, no less.

The iran story is just bullshit. If you have a shell, if you have a fuse for the shell, if you have a disk of copper, you form a copper cap over the top of the shell, bury it, then blow it up at the right time. the copper becomes molten, even a plasma stream, and if shaped correctly, it blows right through the armor.
