Limbaugh Complains Press Didn’t Call Him For Comment, Then Ignores MSNBC’s Call For Comment

On his radio show last Friday, Rush Limbaugh claimed that the uproar over his now-infamous “phony soldiers” comment was “the anatomy of a smear.” As proof, Limbaugh complained that “not one member of the media” had called his office for comment before reporting on his words:

Not one member of the media, not one congressman, nobody has called our office to ask, “Did you really say this? And what did you mean by it?”

But now that he’s further dug himself into hole, calling Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa), a 37-year veteran of the marines, a “phony soldier” and then comparing an Iraq war veteran who denounced his comments to a suicide bomber, Limbaugh is ignoring requests for comment.

MSNBC reported today that Rush was “invited” to “respond” to the story, but that “he has not responded” to the network’s calls:

And of course, we want you to know that we did invited Rush Limbaugh on to respond to this story. He has not responded to our calls.

Though Rush is dodging the non-partisan media microscope, he did speak to one sympathetic reporter, the National Review’s Byron York. Apparently, Rush is only willing to “face” those who won’t say anything critical about him.

The reason Rush Limbaugh doesn't contact MSNBC is that Keith Olbermann will make a fool out of Rush without using Limbaugh's racial slur's involved with Donovan McNabb when a major network aspired to make a color man out the idiot on Monday Night Football.

This has been Rush's MO for years. A big fat mouth when he can't be challenged and constantly refusing to debate where he might have some opposition. And of course the Repugs in Congress and RW talk radio back up his every word. Don't forget this is the pig who called Chelsea Clinton the White House dog when she was about 13 and then denied that's what he meant. Nothing is beneath him.

9. It's just like I thought.

I just tuned in to the Han-nutty Dog n Pony Show to see if I had predicted correctly and I was right. He was raving on about how the lying propagandist hatemonger OxyRush is a victim of a slanderous smear campaign -- yadda, yadda, yadda. I had to turn it off quickly before I lost my lunch.

I knew all the RW radio hatemonger propagandists would fall in right behind OxyRush. They know if Pimple-Butt takes a fall they are next to go. I didn't have the stomach to listen to Beck to find out what he was pissing and moaning about but I can give a good guess that he was reading from the exact same script.
