Draft Gore, California, plans to get Gore's name on CA primary.
And, Mr. Gore has not told them to "stand down", as he did in 2003. They need to get 500 people from each of California's 53 Congressional district's to sign a ballot for Al Gore's name to officially appears on the February primary.

1. Well, I certainly don't think they will have any problem, do you?
And I think it is a very good sign that he has not told them to stand down. I see that as the best indicator of all.

2. K & R
I just phoned and spoke with the main office. I plan to get my signature on the petition, and help secure some other signatures via friends and family in CA.

He verified that the only way Mr. Gore's name won't be on the primary ballot, assuming the very likely outcome that the signatures are sufficient, would be if Mr. Gore asked to have his name removed.

At this stage 4 years ago, the process did not even get to this stage, as Mr. Gore's people told them not to even bother getting signatures.

Looking forward to an October Surprise.

8. I've tried to kee from getting my hopes up every time there is a Gore thread
But this time I failed.

We so need a candidate that we can support without any hesitation or reservation. One that doesn't triangulate.

Please Al, RUN!!!
