2. Viacom does this with any of their material they can find posted to YouTube.
It has been this way for months.

Nothing special here.

Comedy Central has the clip on their site.

16. They've been doing it with clips from MTV, Comedy Central, etc.
for many months now. It was a foregone conclusion that this clip would come down.

Google told to remove over 100,000 Viacom clips from YouTube.
Juan Carlos Perez, IDG News Service
Friday, February 02, 2007 2:00 PM PST

Media conglomerate Viacom International today upbraided YouTube for continuing to host throngs of Viacom videos without permission and demanded that over 100,000 of its clips be removed from the popular video-sharing site owned by Google.

Viacom, whose properties include Comedy Central, MTV, Nick at Nite, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, and VH1, ran out of patience after months of discussions with Google and YouTube, the company said in a statement.

This could mean the end of second-day looks at comedy clips from The Colbert Report and The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.

"It has become clear that YouTube is unwilling to come to a fair market agreement that would make Viacom content available to YouTube users," the statement reads.

9. this followed, and while not as funny (not funny at all).....Stewart's response
to Matthews' accusation that he was afraid of the content of his book:

"I fear FASCISM!"

he actually said that, and it threw Matthews for a loop, at which point he started raving about how this was the worst interview anyone had ever given him. not like the logrolling you do with FASCIST enablers like Laura Ingraham, whose book I watched you call "GREAT." remember that, Chris, or has all the blood that engorged your penis while you heaped all your fatuous praise on that gun-wielding homophobette still tumescing under your aging gut?

11. Yeah, Tweety didn't know what to say
Stewart hit him right where Matthews thinks he's strongest, which is in his soul. That is, Matthews thinks he brings a soulful, spirit-centered perspective to his punditry, and Stewart basically told him he's a soulless manipulative creep, and Matthews was reduced to spluttering that it was the worst interview he'd ever had. No Chris, it was a spectacular interview showing you up for the greedy jerk you really are.

14. Tweety was against the war (a bit) but sucked up to Repukes anyway
It really was a good interview, for all beings not in love with Mathews.

Usually, if Tweety appears on another show, he'll show exerts on Hardball. He didn't do that tonight.
