Tweety: A little bit nutty, a little bit slutty...
Edited on Wed Oct-03-07 06:07 PM by PCIntern
You know, I was watching this tow-headed asshole on Jon Stewart last night and realized that he's the poster-boy for many syndromes:

Projection: How could one not notice that Tweety continually projects his own motives on everyone else, including political candidates, members of the media (mainstream and otherwise) and just about everyone else. how else could someone with ostensibly a 3-digit I.Q. write a ridiculous narcissistic book like this and attempt to get away with it? Life is like a Political Campaign? Is he insane...or just a little nutty?

Horny Male: This one is complex. Note that I did not say: horny Hetero Male, since he indiscriminately verbally humps just about anyone whom he finds attractive, but it is significant to note that he generally goes after women when accused RIGHT HERE IN DU of being vaguely gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Thus: a little bit slutty.

Explosive Laughter: This is somewhat combines with the Projection category above. Recall how he makes fun of Hillary's "cackle" (his word...it's not a cackle it's a twittering, derogatory laugh, but that's for another thread.) when he himself has the most ridiculous creepy 'laugh' I've ever heard thru my TV speakers. Real nasty one, that is.

Slobbering: Less so lately, but he's just so spittle-filled that I find myself awaiting his nightly spouting.

Jealousy: Of Bill Clinton. Case Closed. On Stewart, he was so taken with the fact that Bill got women into bed...by listening!!! He thought that drinking beer and bragging would do it when he was in college. He actually said that. WHAT A MORAN! Everyone knows the technique...it was the loser frat guys who had to basically drug and trick women into bed and they would be in the pokey today for, say 60 years for that exercise.
the rest of us used to have 'serious discussion' with women and although most of us had no resemblance to Clark Gable, did pretty well in the sex department. Yes, one more thing...note that these guys always say "get women in bed" Note that they never refer to what they did or didn't (more importantly) do there. there were lots of bigmouths in college and graduate school, most of whom were greatly exaggerating their exploits, believe me. Our walls were paper-thin and trysts lasting more than 4 minutes with these moran-types were few and far between.

that is all for today's Tweety 101.

9. That's because he's so smooth and smarmy that you don't realize he's selling
you innuendo and PROPAGANDA. Those types are the most dangerous - I hope and pray that those American "Outside of The Beltway Bubble" will continue to resist Mathews, et. al. spewing of political obfuscation and B.S. to consolidate power in the hands of a few political elites of both parties seemingly walzing with each other - SICK STUFF, i.e., Plutocracy. :grr: :(

4. "he (Chris Mathews) was so taken with the fact that Bill got women into bed..."
That part of the interview seriously CREEPED ME OUT! :puke: :scared:

Time to realize that we have PT Barnum's offspring within the D.C. Beltway political ruling class. Plus their favorite *sounding board* publications to catapult the propaganda are "The Whoreshington Post" and "Politico.com." They just don't get it?!? How dare us Peasants outside of the beltway challenge their blessed evaluations of *the truth.* :eyes:

8. That was REALLY DISGUSTING
and he's a PIG.

Strange part is, I come from a generation of college students who did bad things to women - not that I was involved in such goings on of course - and I'm totally repulsed by his affect. Gross. Really slimy-prick GROSS. Yich.

11. Yes, indeedy! Reminded me of the Fraternities within my college days of the 70s.
I know what you mean. I belonged to "an academic" Sorority (wink wink) and observing the "social atmosphere" within the Greek Community was a real eye opener about the SMARMY underbelly of college life. Thank goodness we were girl geeks who had exchanges with the "The Animal House" fraternity.

I'd honestly rather be a good working class person for my entire life, than sell my soul to the devil as many of these deluded young people had done (and continue to do) within the elitist Greek Communities on Campus. :(

6. Tweety just views politics like most view sports
I don't fault him for it - it's the instinct of a newsman. "If it bleeds, it leads."

Thing is, with politics, REAL lives are being affected. REAL people are dying in Iraq. The Bush admin is REALLY trying to overturn the constitution - as much of it as they can.

For him, it's still the 80's and 90's when politics was more of a game. It ain't any more.

10. Other than all his faults as you see them and being a 'little bit nutty
and a little bit slutty' LOL!! (How dare you) - I think Chris Matthews is heads and shoulders over most media whores. I like him as I think most here at DU like him. Do a poll. But then again that's why there are so many different favors of ice cream.

and docile compliance within American Media.

Look WAY DOWN to Chris Matthew's political underbelly to discover he's a 100% morally bankrupt politico who makes all the rounds with the political elites within The Beltway..

Again, think P.T. Barnum.

When Stewart made a subtle slam at Clinton, Tweety defended him.

16. WTF? Tweety boasting about Bill getting laid because he was a good listener? If that's respect ...
then those within Clintonian DLC have remarkably low standards to defend.

Oops! They may have.

22. Yep, Stewart said that "yeah, you should listen,.....
....but you should also care what the other person has to say" (or substance thereof). He seemed to be speaking both of the endeavour of life-in-general, and that of getting laid. Tweety managed to get in a quick "he did/does care". (again paraphrasing)

23. I know this is out of line somewhat,
but my guess is that Tweety doesn't get laid much. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he's way too high strung and his diabetes is getting in his way.

Since he wantd to personalize all this via the Clintons, discussing their sex lives, we'll personalize this.

HOw's that feel, Tweety?

about something like this - that is NOT respect. There's something really unseemly. How does he know why? - Did he ask the women?

25. Since I'm second generation Irish I will go ahead and say this: He is
typical of the repressed Catholic home upbringing that was at least, rampant in many an Irish home. Sex was only for procreation, the males were usually awkward wherein alcohol helped to fuel their "smooth lines" to the females. If the males went to Catholic school, at least to me, it was even worse. Priests have little or no use for women except to procreate, nuns insinuated that sex was "dirty" and so on. Chris is the end result of this type of upbringing.. Flame away..

26. Not from me will you get flamed...
Each of us is raised in an ethnic environment wherein specific sexual mores are transmitted, wittingly or unwittingly, to the children. I think you're probably right on the money here...

Guys like Tweety are actually rather asexual physically although the bluster and bravado are in extremis. Remember "Revenge of the Nerds"?

even if you hadn't heard his work on his shows, etc.

tweety came across as the fawning, post adolescent, mental midget he truly is.

28. The Clenis Envy is obvious
I think he's less obsessed with Hillary than he is with Bill. You could see that on TDS.

He uses BC's success with the ladies as a major theme in his book.

30. He's jealous of the ladies' relationship with BC...
he has big man-crushes and can't deal with them.

he's one of those guys who'd join an all-male club where they walk around nude. there are quite a few for elitists from what I understand.

31. He Thinks "Hardball" Is a Game
I've long dismissed Tweety as a credible "pundit" rather than a school yard bully who thinks politics is some contest he uses to build himself and his elitist buddies...letting his personal feelings cloud any judgement about others. He constantly projects and sets up strawmen to turn real life issues into a schoolyard game...the epitome of the "politics of personal destruction".

Stewart nailed him good...just like he did with Crossfire and I'm glad someone did it. His biases and phobias pour out every time he shows his sad mug and has become a symbol of what's wrong with the chattering class.

Cheers...
