I HATE ALL IRANIANS, US AIDE TELLS MPs

Britsh MPs visiting the Pentagon to discuss America's stance on Iran and Iraq were shocked to be told by one of President Bush's senior women officials: "I hate all Iranians."

And she also accused Britain of "dismantling" the Anglo-US-led coalition in Iraq by pulling troops out of Basra too soon.

The all-party group of MPs say Debra Cagan, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Coalition Affairs to Defence Secretary Robert Gates, made the comments this month.

just a bit of British context here: the Daily Mail is a VERY sensational, unreliable, right-wing paper. They are usually to be seen attacking immigrants, asylum-seekers, the EU, foreigners in general, gays, Travellers and Gypsies, single parents, Muslims, and anyone who is seen as soft on crime - in any order. They will also publish anything that looks sensational enough to sell Imagine the 'National Enquirer' crossed with a Rush Limbaugh talk show and then dressed up to look a little more respectable.

This report may well be true, but I would be cautious about it until it appears somewhere a bit more trustworthy, which, as far as I know, it hasn't yet.

If it is true, then it's utterly shocking.
