8. You really need to ask that?
You're shitting me, right? I'd be willing to bet he cannot even pronounce chess, much less play it. Even if he did try to play it, he would want all the rules set up so he always wins. He would also have it where he can move any piece any way he wants while his opponent has to sit there and take it. That's the only way he would know how to play anything. Has he ever followed the same rules as the rest of us? No. The man is a spoiled rotten brat who always gets his way.

The Bushes all seem to go in for outdoor sports: fishing, golf, tennis, horseshoes, brush clearing.

Their favorite indoor game is MONOPOLY.

61. It's all in HOW you play it.
Just playing Monopoly like you and I (or really you because I dislike that game very much) do, that's not presidential.

Playing it with real money and the land values updated to 2007 levels, like Shrub does, that's more manly.

And playing it with real money you got from a Halliburton cost overrun...that's Republican-Presidential.

When he figures out how to get from the peppermint slide through the fudge swamp, they may introduce him to Checkers.

But, Chess? They probably try to make him feel better by telling him only "Commies" do well at the game.

Chess has always been a game about war.

Maybe it's idealistic but wouldn't it be nice if, instead of having a war, you just had the two greatest chess masters of each nation play best-of-three?

...but the Iranians do, and have been playing the game for centuries, along with backgammon. One of the reasons I cite for not messing with Iran. Just a bad idea.

King-Bushie
Queen-Cheney (the real power in chess)
Bishops-Rummy(out of play), Condi
Knights & Rooks- the military
Pawns- foot soldiers and the US public
