Tennessee: Bush's veto costs state's hospitals $150 million
Headline in this mornings paper....i hope this is happening in every state across this nation.

~snip~ President Bush on Wednesday vetoed a bill to expand a health insurance program for children of the working poor — a decision that set back efforts by Tennessee hospitals to get an additional $30 million a year for five years to help offset costs of providing care to the poor.

The thrust of the bill was children's health care, but it included a provision to partly restore Tennessee's share of payments for hospitals that treat a disproportionate share of uninsured patients.

3. It'll be funny when his stupid veto is overridden.
Then again, we are talking about Repukes. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't cross over to get the 2/3'rds majority.
