How to deal with Iraq?
OK, let's take it as read that none of us want more troops or civilians dying in Iraq.

Here's the thing: Having destroyed their nation, do we not have a moral obligation to rebuild it? Further, as most acknowledge, Iraq is either in or teetering on the brink of, a civil war (depending how you define the term). If we pull out, that civil war goes unchecked and quite possibly draws the surrounding nations in. On the other hand, if we stay, we simply aggravate the situation.

So, what to do? How do we pull troops out while minimising the loss of life and, in possible, fulfilling our moral obligation to rebuild the place?

Suggestions?

1. Vietnam is still waiting on our moral obligation
Iraq may have to take a number.

Either way, we have to leave and let them sort it out, but it's hard not to notice that our leaders seem intent on expanding the war, instead.

2. Oh Lord, no!
Of the many things we don't need right now, another war is fairly high on the list.

3. I'm one of the few who say this silly "civil war goes uncheck" blah blah

blah, is either a "scare tactic" or a M$M RW talking point catapulted over and over.

Proof:

"Iraqis say Basra quieter after British troop pullout"
http://uk.reuters.com/article/email/idUKYAT72246420071001

So, why not "Give Peace A Chance" and "try" the same as the Brits?

OTOH, if the BFEE had not looted the Treasury so much, I would be glad to pay them to rebuild...

But the U.S. (and not just "levees" or "bridges") is crumbling... unless the BFEE is stripped of all their (formerly, "our") "po$$e$$ion$"...

Edit: link.
