CNN Rob Marciano calls "An Inconvenient Truth" Fictional
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/paul-detrick/2007/10/04/cnn-meteorologist-definitely-some-inaccuracies-gore-film

CNN Meteorologist Rob Marciano clapped his hands and exclaimed, "Finally," in response to a report that a British judge might ban the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" from UK schools because, according to "American Morning," "it is politically biased and contains scientific inaccuracies."

"There are definitely some inaccuracies," Marciano added. "The biggest thing I have a problem with is this implication that Katrina was caused by global warming."

UPDATE: Marciano also sarcastically said, "the Oscars, they give out awards for fictional films as well."

This is the same guy who a few weeks ago said "At least they didn't cap her!" while making the 'gangster with a gun' pose on live tv, in reference to that woman who was tasered a bunch of times and hit her head on the cop car. HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! I've already wrote in countless times about the inapropriate behavior displayed regarding the taser story, now this. Its like fox news invaded CNN.

5. Yep, hacks trying desperatly to hold on to their ratings...
They are so far removed from Edward R. Murrow that to call them "journalists" is an insult to the great one...

12. Will the American Meteorological Society pull his accreditation
I saw an article that the AMS has come down on the side of real science and that idiots who go against real science may lose their accreditation. This idiot currently is accredited

13. Good point
Maybe we should write some emails to the AMS as well. At the very best I would think they wouldn't want members to spout random personal comments without a factual backup.
