Poll question: Who is more Liberal? Bill or Hillary? |
|
I have always thought she was way more of a leftist than he ever was, but I am not sure anymore?
What do you think?

1. I think you should get extra points for using the words 'Clinton' and 'Liberal' in a sentence |

6. Liberal by Congressional standards? Or liberal by the universal political spectrum? |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-04-07 06:09 PM by Selatius
As it stands, I happen to think a person like Kucinich would appear as a moderate Social Democrat if the political dialogue in this country weren't so narrowly defined. Hillary would come across as a centrist in a universal scope. Whether she'd come across as a center-leftist or a center-rightist is up to people to decide for themselves.

20. Can we have Kucinich? |
|
I'm British. Here, Kucinich would be a fairly normal centre-left politician who would fit in well with the Liberal party.

Under evolutionary theory, whatever came before the chicken laid the egg, out of which hatched the chicken. Therefore, the egg came first.

16. Bill was always the more liberal one - HIllary was a Goldwater Girl when she met him |

But it's a clear case of the two of them are better than just one.

See, under the political spectrum used up until 1985 (and still used in the rest of the world), neither are especially liberal. Both are fairly straightforward centreists (although Hillary is probably slightly more left-leaning than Bill). Under the political range used since 1985, both are extreme-left-fringe pinko communists who should be thrown in a gulag.
And to the other poster who brought it up, under our political spectrum here (England), Dennis Kucinich is centre-left and would fit in well with our Liberal party.
