if you can't stand the democratic party right now?
They are weak, and incapable of taking a stand.
One example:
When the moveon ad about Petreaus came out, why did they sign on to that drivel?
Why didn't they just say we have more important things to do and when asked about it just say that they didn't agree with it, but vote the fuck on it?????????
And now with the Limbaugh thing, the republicans say there are more important things to do and make the democrats look like idiots to the American people and weak to their base.
Oh and never mind the Iran resolution, I can't even go there, I'm too livid.
Who the fuck is in control of the god damned message people?
I wanna know, right now damn it.
Are they doing this type of shit on purpose?
I for one am not a troll, have been a dedicated democrat my entire voting life. My family has always been democrats as well. I will never vote republican, but just because the democrats are pissing me off so much right now, I am basically called a freep, and that pisses me off too, because it couldn't be further from the truth. But if you criticize the democratic party for good reason, do you have a right to be on DU?
From what I can see, may DUers think you (me) shouldn't be here.

And that is this: WE are the Democratic party. Personally, I can't stand the leadership (or much of the "followship"), but I won't say that I can't stand the entire party.
We do have some serious work ahead of us if this party is going to stay relevant. And I'm frankly out of patience with the people who are supposed to be leading the way.

Why are they doing what they are doing? I have a big imagination and can't seem to come up with a good reason or the upside to they way they do the things they do.

Consider that we have Dem Senators whose electorate have voted 2/3 Republican.
Don't expect them to be progressive radicals. Don't expect them to fall for the constant political traps that would defeat them.
And, there are a lot of pro trolls, actually getting paid to do it.
