If ever there was a day Bush deserved impeachment, today is it.
Then again the same could be said about a year ago today, yesterday, tomorrow or March 1, 2007.

Well, January 20, 2009 marks the end of Bush's criminal reign, eight years of this arrogant, despicable, lying, soulless WH pResident!

The sad part is there are still more than 14 months to go.

1. I only hope Jan. 20, 2009 is the beginning of long investigations
which end with appropriate sentences.
This country cannot allow anyone to get away with this kind of shit without punishment, no matter how long justice takes.

4. I saw that Pinocet's family is still being arrested after all these years and
I can see the same for Bush. Years and years from now he will still be having his ass hauled off to court.

2. My only hope is that they don't start something that will enable them...
to declare Martial Law or something of that nature that would have them remain in the White House.

3. Who says he's gonna leave office?
Edited on Thu Oct-04-07 09:51 PM by TheDebbieDee
What if he decides not to leave office or cancels the elections for some made-up reason regarding national security? Maybe he'll decide that things would be better if he remained the pResident.

Who's gonna make him leave office? Congress? The Military. The Supreme Court?

Will we have to pay Blackwater billions of dollars to remove him from office?

No one has been able to make him comply with any law or rule with which he didn't want to comply. And to make things worse, he orders other people not to obey laws or rules or orders or subpoenas (think Harriet Miers disregarding Leahy's subpoenas) and he pardons those who are tried for breaking laws while doing his bidding (Scooter Libby).

I'm beginning to think * cooked up this whole Iraq invasion to so discombobulate, demoralize and unbalance our military that they will be unable (or maybe even UNWILLING) to adequately respond to any domestic crisis or put-down any domestic Blackwater operations.

Food for thought, I guess. ***rant over now***

5. That could be said each and every day for the last 6 years.
