Obama Doesn't Wear Flag Lapel Pin!! Big stir at Faux News.
I even heard one of them say that she doesn't "know what Obama has against the flag, but. . . ."

Here's a picture from their site:

Their site this a.m.:

http://www.foxnews.com/

I bet they'd like to have the other organizations pick this up like the MoveOn ad. I don't think they can make this one work, however. It seems too petty to an average person. (But I'm always surprised at our pettiness.)

Osama bin Laden doesn't wear a US Flag pin, after all, those who do have been so helpful to him.

On Edit: OK, perhaps that's going too far.

Here's his blog: http://wbztv.com/kellerblog

8. "huddled masses" = fox news viewers
Only a boomer would simultaneously revel in the dubious moral glory of shunning an American flag pin while expecting the huddled masses to overlook that gesture and lock in on his rhetorical brilliance.

5. When Fox and Friends was on, I looked to see who had flag tie
pins on, and I know at least one wasn't wearing one DURING the segment!

Can you believe that?

Maybe Keith can come out tonight on this one.

What if people think he is running for the presidency of Bolivia? I'm not taking any chances. I'm getting a flag tattooed on my forehead.

9. The military is turning on Blackwater, Bush is getting reamed by his own party for his veto on SCHIP
and Fox and Friends decides that Obama not wearing a flag is the big story of the day.

Just when you think they couldn't give any more proof that they're three bozos that were given the keys to a TV studio as a joke.....

12. Maybe this is his protest against the false "support the troops"
crap those over at Fox are always saying. At least he supports the troops enough to want them home and not be killed. But then people like Fox trash can't see that. They have their heads so far up bush's butt they don't know what is really going on in this country.

15. Faux News = Faux Patriots
Grasping at straws now. They realize they have nothing but losers in the race. Fred wasn't wearing
one on their own network interview.

This won't hurt Obama. Anyone making a big deal over it would never have voted for him anyway.

Losers.

I know I'll never look at flag pins the same way; I've already formed the association of the pin with American fascism.

Too bad.

17. Obama slams Fake Patriotism - Patriotism is what we do not what we wear
Its how you treat your fellow American according to Obama not wearing pins while you veto health care for children. All fake patriots with flag pens can do is call names because they don't practice patriotism.

25. Oh, and BTW, I'm a Gore person...but if Al chooses not to run,
this is enough to push me into the Obama camp.

I hate this faux-patriot crap.

And I admire Obama's ability to put together a coherent sentence, uncoached.

These days, that's a big endorsement.

Media has so many important things to focus on. Torture, impending war with Iran. Runaway spending. Dollar crisis and they frit about a lapel pin?

It is not just foxnews. It is all over the news. Now they are asking all pres. candidates what do they think about it.
Behold the top item on abc:

Paul Won't Condemn Obama on Flag Pin
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2007/10/paul-wont-conde.html

32. I love how they attacked him last night on Hannity & Co. (get it?)
The woman interviewed who was after him wasn't wearing a flag pin and was blown out of the water when Colmes pointed it out.

She also said she wasn't questioning his patriotism. Yet this morning's Faux Poll asked: "Obama: Traitor or Patriot?"

But I think Faux will run aground on this one. It's far too silly to do anything but cast aspersions on it's carrier, Faux. (That is, for all but the far right.)
