Nightmare REpuke ticket?
There are several discussions here about Democratic candidates and tickets. But I'm curious to know which repuke candidates would be your nightmare ticket.

Obviously * and gun toter are the ultimate nightmare ticket. But fortunately shrub can't have another term in office. Though I suspect the * crime family will probably try to run J * at some point in the future.

My vote for the repuke nightmare ticket would be Cheney/Rice. What is yours?

1. Thompson/Giuliani
Thompson will never want to run anything, he's just there for the photo ops, the speeches, and the religious fringe. Giuliani will run things, and we won't like it.

That team might actually bring the faithful out to vote.

2. the worst, but would never win
Santorum/Brownback.

The worst that could win: Jindal/Watts.

That's a nightmare that keeps me up at nights.

5. A ticket with Watts wouldn't win.
A ticket with Watts wouldn't win.

But I'm interested in why you think Santorum/Brownback
wouldn't win if run? They may be assholes, but they're
both pretty personable assholes. Guys you might even
share a beer with.

17. no, they're not guys anyone would be comfortable having a beer with
they'd be the asshole at the bar who, the more they drink, the more belligerent in insisting you accept their perspective on everything they'd get.

3. Tancredo/Cheney
Just thought of this. The racist Tancredo out in front, and Cheney/Haliburton still pulling the strings behind the scenes.

19. Are you kidding? Cheney/Rice wouldn't have a chance in hell, that would be GREAT as far as I'm
concerned.

Hardly anyone likes Cheney, and it's a miracle that he's even survived through 2 terms (so far).

The Condi thing is the world's biggest joke. Not only has she been sucky as a Secretary of State - all she's done is parrot the administration party line, at least Rummy had some of his own ideas (they all sucked) - but Republicans have played so heavily on racism the last 20-30 years that having any black person on the ticket at all would work heavily against that current and depress turnout for them in a huge way.

Just look at the way no leading Republican candidate DARES go to an debate or event sponsored by any minority organization, black or Hispanic. I'm assuming that they have calculated that they will lose more votes by going (from their CORE CONSTITUENCY OF RACIST WHITE VOTERS) than they will gain from minority voters.

Simply disgusting. But I would LOVE to see a ticket like that one, bring it on.
