These are responses to a thread about a story from some rag called California Catholic Daily called "Gays, lesbians rule Democratic Party." Freepers truly do swim at the bottom of the fish tank. From the FreeRepublic:

Homosexuals have taken control of California’s Democratic Party, says a political commentary in the influential homosexual newspaper Bay Area Reporter.
Beneath the headline “Gays, lesbians rule Democratic Party,” political reporter Matthew Bajko, writing in the Sept. 27 issue, makes a strong case that California’s Democratic party is virtually owned by the gay, lesbian and transgender community.
Bajko points out that four openly homosexual men and one lesbian hold top leadership positions in the state party, and that three of the largest counties have Democratic Party chairs who are openly homosexual: San Diego’s Jess Durfee, Los Angeles’ Eric Bauman and San Francisco’s Scott Weiner.
Other openly homosexual Democratic chairs include Debra Broner in Del Norte County and Sacramento’s Sam Catalano, who is the county’s executive director for the Democratic Party, said Bajko.
Out of a total state population of 36.4 million, more than 15 million people live in the five counties where homosexuals control the local Democratic Party, according to Bajko’s report.
San Francisco Democratic Party chairman Scott Wiener, reported Bajko, is aware that the kind of diversity homosexual leaders need to stay in power is threatened by conservative growth. “The fastest growing sections of the state are in red areas (areas that voted Republican in the last presidential election),” Wiener told Bajko. “To keep up with that and keep California blue, we have to register people along the coast. It is not glamorous but it is critical.”
Bajko says the two top priorities of the homosexuals who control the Democratic Party are same-sex marriage and transgender rights. Weiner said it is of utmost importance “to have a strong voice in having LGBT people set the agenda… The party has come out for trans rights, and that is also really important. We have helped to drive that.”

Hey, I didn’t vote for them. There are plenty of good conservative people in CA. We can’t help it that we have been overrun by hippies, illegals and their idealogical progeny.

I know. I retired from the Army and lived in WA state for 14 years. I fully understand. However, I escaped from behind enemy lines and came home to Alabama. At least here there are more conservatives, gun owners, people of real faith not the make up religion of so called peace, and a better way of life. I really did not understand all that when I was in the Army, moving around the world and the country. It took me retiring and living in the People’s Homo Hell of Sodom on the Sound to come to understand fully what these people were and what they were. I was educated first hand on those scum. My wife retired and we left that cess pool of filthy and scum.
