2. Yeah, now when he, under oath, testifies... |
|
"I can't recall," he'll have a built in excuse. Good point.

6. Dementia is not necessarily memory related |
|
If I remember correctly it was stated that he had temporal lobe degeneration which is often associated with speech issues.
That having been said, with the nature of this type of disease it makes a lot of sense for him to ride this term to an end and then retire. Hard to say how this could effect any testimony he might provide.

And that's what he cares about. Because he committed a crime.

7. A doctor was on CNN explaining this |
|
But she talked so fast you couldn't understand the whole symptoms list. I don't remember if losing memory was one of the symptoms or not.

8. Looked up symptoms and |
|
It causes -impaired language, emotions, social relations and behavior. It does not impair memory. It says that a person suffering from this knows what's going on, understands it, but can not do anything about it, which makes it worst. It also said that he could develop fatal urinary tract infections or pneumonia.
One other thing, I skipped thru the piece to get to the symptoms but I think it said in the first paragraph he knew he had this disease before he ran for re-election in 2006. And after getting this info I clicked off going to go back and check...
If he did shades of Reagan and his Alzheimer's. And you know what bush exhibits all the symptoms of this disease also.
