Anyone notice the lack of Political Coverage on CNN/MSNBC lately on the Weekends?

MSNBC seems to have expanded it's "Crime and Criminals in America" focus until 6:00 p.m. on Weekends and CNN seems to focus with that weird guy Anchor on whatever Sports Star or Entertainment Crack Up is occuring.

I went over and checked Faux....and it was the Usual Crowd ...carrying on like everyone was hanging on every word for their wisdom.

Since our Dems took over the "PTB" (Powers that Be) seem to be very happy to CUT COVERAGE on WEEKENDS.

I've read that it's Budge Cuts because there's no audience for Political Shows or Real News because most folks get their info from the Internet Now. BUT...I've also read that Most Americans want to watch Sports or other Cable Shows on the Weekend or they Show Movies in their Home Theaters and so don't care to watch Political Stuff because it's BORING.

I've seen the lock down START when Scooter Libby got pardoned and from then on as Dems Caved on Vote after Vote...the coverage got less and less and now it's getting close to BOTTOM.

ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THIS? :shrug: What's wrong?

1. They don't cover ANYTHING on the weekends

2. This has been going on for years.

There has been no noticeable cutback on weekend news, IMO. CNN has aired mostly pre-recorded or fluff programs for a decade or more on weekends. Although I'm less sure of MSNBC, I think they have followed suit for some time... very little news or political coverage.
