Families Settle 9/11 Suit
Apologize if this has been posted about already...

http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/local/bal-md.victims03oct03,0,7488434.story?track=rss

<snip>
"Our clients wanted those who were responsible to be held accountable," said Keith Franz, a Towson-based lawyer who represented the families. "They wanted answers as to why these events happened and how their loved ones died."
</snip>

Those pesky survivors - why can't they just be quiet?

1. Look...the federal gummit does NOT want 911 investigated!
It has to stay secret, like all the other horrible truths about the US govt.

2. Throw money at the problem
Edited on Sat Oct-06-07 10:06 PM by kitty44
It seems like the government's reaction is to throw money at this problem.

But having a loved one die is not something people forget. I think the law suits and demands for investigation will continue for another 50 years.

As they should.

(edit for typo)

3. Yep, see Iraq.
They believe money can literally fix all problems, all the while destroying the value of the dollar.

4. Even Kean said that 9/11 could have been stopped . . ..
This was obvious to most of us immediately --
Evidently, the MSM is still trying NOT to see that reality --

Once you understand THAT it could have been stopped . . . .
it certainly gets you thinkin' ----

5. And ya know, when Ron Paul (R) says the federal government
is planning another attack...a REPUBLICAN...ya got to wonder...

WHY did the M$M ignore Gore's win in 2000? Why do they ignore 911? Why ignore LA? Why ignore Iraq?

Why?

Money.

6. By the time the press knew that Gore won in 2000, Bush was pulling off 9/11 ---
Edited on Sat Oct-06-07 11:03 PM by defendandprotect
We've had "Shock + Awe" on top of "Shock + Awe" . . .
9/11 immediately followed by Antrax attacks and closing down of Congress for more than three months as citizens were calling for an investigation of 9/11 -- which Bush was ensuring wasn't going to happen!!!

You know, the Constitution mentions "suspicion" -- even when you have suspicion of VP and Pres working together -- they weren't that dumb -- we seem to be!!!

7. PS: You can act Constitutionally on "suspicion of wrongdoing by President/VP"
Some enlightened citizen posted this previous at DU . . .

From Judiciary In '74-
"
If The President Be Connected In Any
Suspicious Manner With Any Person..."
The following is from a report written and released by
the Judiciary Committee in 1974 in the aftermath of the Watergate
crisis.

In the (Constitutional) convention George Mason argued that the
President might use his pardoning power to "pardon crimes which were advised
by himself" or, before indictment or conviction, "to stop inquiry and
prevent detection." James Madison responded:

If the President be connected, in any suspicious manner, with any
person, and there be grounds to believe he will shelter him, the House of
Representatives can impeach him; they can remove him if found guilty...

....................

Madison went on to say contrary to his position in the Philadelphia
convention, that the President could be suspended when suspected, and his
powers would devolve on the Vice President, who could likewise be
suspended until impeached and convicted, if he were also suspected.

8. You would think the fact that both live in the same state would do it.
But hey what do I know? Baker had Roberts file with the court he would years later sit on. Who could have thought!? The complaint? Grievous harm to Bush's election outcome as the new POTUS. Weak shit from a frail group of assholes in PNAC.
