1. I have -- it was out in Canada in mid-September
But maybe it's only coming around to selected cities? I don't know about any DVD release dates ... but this is supposed to be where it's playing now.

4. I especially liked the part with the proposed solutions ...

I teach a class on environmental science and global warming policy, so I was especially interested in picking out clips showing what we might be able to do about the situation. Also one of my students had been looking into cradle-to-cradle manufacturing, so I was able to point her to the movie as a good place to start her research. And I thought it was excellent that they mentioned the lack of beauty in today's built landscapes ... something we're looking at in one of my other classes (landscape architecture).

No slam to Gore (I saw him speak in person, last week, and really enjoyed his presentation -- posted on it in my journal) -- but in some ways, this new film is even better-suited to educational purposes than "An Inconvenient Truth".

3. I liked it -- we did some work on it at work.
I work for Warner Bros., and we did some work on this about a month or so before it was released. I saw it a couple of times.

The one thing that really stuck with me is the Native American gentleman saying, "Mankind may die, but the earth will keep on living. The earth has all the time in the world...but we don't."

It was also cool to see Thom Hartman -- I love that guy!
