Mistah KURTZ's verdict on Tweety vs Jon (Jon!!1). Plus, Tweety recants "criminality" statement

Most of us here are "on" to Tweety---whether we frame him as "schizophrenic," or "as the wind blows," or "an attention queen." He still has some defenders, those who tirelessly repeat, "He was always against the war," or who say, "When he's on our side, there's nobody better," and the one(s?) recently claiming that he "won" against Jon.


Well, Mistah KURTZ just played 3 key clips and issued the official Media Jury verdict that Tweety "went into Jon STEWERT's lair and met his (hardball) match."

The clips were, Tweety saying, "You're trashing me" with Jon replying, "I'm not trashing you, I'm trashing your philosophy of life." And Tweety CLEARLY went down, literally, with his head DOWN to the desk. Then Tweety inexplicably changed the subject, making it sound like a challenge, that Jon go on Hardball. What was this supposed to mean, that on his home turf Tweety would assault Jon? And Jon said, "May I say, I don't troll." And Tweety AGAIN, literally hit the desk with his head. Then the 3rd was Tweety just being insulting (as a dodge) yelling "This is the WORST interview I've ever had." KURTZ cut it off before the even more tasteless calling Jon himself "the worst."


But even more telling about what I've always alleged about Tweety's cowardice, KURTZ said that Tweety had gone on from Jon to make a splash by saying the Shrubbites' criminality had caught up to them. KURTZ said Tweety has BACKTRACKED, "He NOW says he was referring to the Scooter LIBBY verdict."


Yeah, I know about Mistah KURTZ's Rethug wife and about his usual weaselling, but in this case, it worked for me.

2. Just to clarify...when Stewart said "trolling..."

...I've only heard that in one context, "trolling for queers." Now don't get upset at me, GBLT types, but that's the common phrase. I've never heard a heterosexual guy say "I'm trolling for babes."

So was Jon Stewart implying something about Tweety's sexuality? Just a hint of it?

And if so, is that characterization fair?

Most anybody could see Jon won that bout against tweets and howie prolly has some agenda against tweety since he said the bushits were fucking criminals and it's caught up to them.

18. Tweety's on with G.E. Russert right now, the 1 hr circle jerk "interview"

G.E. skewered him about 15 minutes in, saying, "LISTENING is one of your lessons in your book? YOU? LISTEN?!1"

Tweety said, "I'm trying!!1 On the Sunday show I listen more. In the other one I have guests who have their own agendas and I have to challenge them." Ha!1


What's hilarious is how G.E. reads off one after another of the "lessons" in Tweety's book, and Tweety gets his ga-ga goofy look of ADMIRATION (for himself) and says, "That's TRUE!1" HaHA!!1

The next "lesson" is "Don't pick on someone your own size.


Gawsh, Tweety just tried to quote the totally known quote of Lloyd BENTSEN against QUAYLE, and could only paraphrase it, not quote it. Gee, if that's all he could come up with to feature in a BOOK, shouldn't he OWN it, KNOW it, instead of flubbing through it?!1

Let's parse this. The first thing he did entering the Daily Show, he made a pitiful reference to Jon's height. Otoh, Jon is a smarter and deeper human, so I guess Jon IS the BIGGER person (to be picked on).



Btw, in the ridiculous "interview" of Tweets by his wife, Kathleen ("my queen"), he lapped up her questions the way he is doing now, luerving the ATTENTION, but she nailed him anyway, saying, "This is a CARTOON of what a book interview should be, Chris." Haha!!1

He repeated it at least four times. This was after his jawboning about how he ran for congress in his 20s, that he had worked for NADIR 3-4 months, ran a campaign on no money with kid volunteers.


So when it was over, G.E. asked whether he might run for anything again. That's what he answered, "It's always out there!!1" G.E. asked why. Tweety said that because it's too easy to do what he does, to CRITICIZE.

Will our long national nightmare never end?!1 Shrub. Then possibly Jeb Crow Shrub. AND Tweety, too?!1

use the word "outrageous" to characterize Matthews' use of the words 'criminality/Bush administration?'

I was only half listening, but I sure got the impression he thought is was VERY bad form for Matthews to dare enter such dangerous waters
