4. But, but, but there is NO global warming
this is YOUR imagination

:sarcasm:

Praise the Lord for a warm fall, perhaps the winter will also be mild

:sarcasm:

By the by, it is warm in Southern Cali too

8. This is not evidence of global warming,
any more than a cold April would be evidence that there is not global warming. By suggesting that a brief regional variation is anything but a brief regional variation, you give credit to the idiot's argument that runs, "It's cold, therefore there isn't global warming."

9. If it was only this fall you'd have a point
but we have a PATTERN of weather changes world wide

I could regale you with them, but why bother.

10. Right, so stick to those.
Keep the debate honest. Global warming is so obviously true that we don't need to pollute the evidence base with "it's hot, so there's global warming"

11. It's still hot here, too, in south Texas. It's 92 now. It should be
in the eighties. We don't have a Fall like most of the US, but we should have a break in the temps. It is slow coming this year after a very wet and cooler summer.

12. Careful what aspects of the weather you pick to exemplify global warming
The temp is about to drop quite quickly. Yes, this is part of global warming but the issue of global warming is not that we have hot days. Its that the average global temp is going up. Thats an annual percentage. A few warm days here and there do not make global warming and are not the problem. It is the absolute shift in global weather patterns that are created by this. That means we will see days that are too cold as well. So merely pointing out when it gets warm can undermine the actual issues in play. Because when people see a streak of cold weather in their mind they will see it as balancing the hot weather.

Global warming is not about localized conditions. Its about global conditions.
