4. None of the above. We have a rw propoganda ministry, with a very
few exceptions. I do think msnbc, perhaps due to the influence of KO, is heading away from the fascism.

13. We have a capitalist media
This means that the media's coverage is always to serve the interests of the bourgeoisie. If it is useful to spread certain political views, that will happen (Fox news, CNN, etc.) if it is useful to bring in revenue, that will also happen (Daily Show, MTV, etc.)

18. We have a republican owned corporate media - This is fact! All five owned by...
Edited on Thu Oct-11-07 12:42 AM by LaPera
The republicans and their think tanks have long ago decided the way for their corporate ideology & party to exists is to control what they decide is what they want told...control thoughts by lies and NOT allowing stories that will hurt their party, the corporations and their military machine....

We have only five corporations that own all the major news on television where more than 80% of the people get their information....

All five of the corporations that control our news are huge contributors to the republican party...ALL five: ABC - Disney, CNN - Time-Warner, Fox - Murdoch, NBC - General Electric and CBS - Viacom.

AND we all know how right-wing 90% of talk radio is.

19. They are just waiting
Libertarian is the extreme form of conservatism.
Despite all the phony charts that show it as left, right,up ,down.
The media is apparently going to flush the whole industry down the shitter.
Mr. "never gets any coverage" Libertarian will soon control the internet and the corporate media.
There's more to come I'm sure. Especially since nobody is believing it.

Again I find myself agreeing with you. :)

20. Confessing your ignorance?
Do you think multi-national monopoly capitalism is either one? Drink some more Kool-Aid. The Jim Jones variety is thought to be especially edifying. Given your state of ignorance, it probably wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
