Tyler Peterson after he shot up the party, with his POLICE ISSUED rifle, went to a friend’s house at 7:30 AM…

The folks in the house called 911 over 20 times, and the police did not get their till nearly 11, and then they just sat a few blocks away, while the family and a few employees where left with the out of control cop.

Kegley owns a construction and roofing company housed on his property. Three of his workers were at the house, and as Peterson lingered, they called 911 "as many as 20 times," Kegley said.

Sometime around 10:30 a.m. when there was still no apparent sign of police, Mike Kegley left the house to "find out where the hell they were," he said.

After a 45 minute nap, Peterson walked into the woods at 2 PM and killed himself. The father of the house, had left at 10:30, to find out WHERE THE POLICE WHERE, was not allowed back, or even told his family was unharmed till at least 2:30..

There is no excuse for that level of incompetence…. And people say I, am paranoid because my wife and I, have CCW permits.

If you have to face the consequences of your own shortcomings ... could you ask for better? Peterson got to relax with true friends, his family forgave him - he begged forgiveness of his victims' families ... sheesh, let it go.

3. That is your interpretation, but according to the article the authorities

Were positioned right down the road. My take is that someone had put together the conversations and recognized that a hostage situation was being averted. They knew the perp well and may have demonstrated this final act of kindness. It was, after all, a crime of passion - not an wanton act by a repeat offender.
