Re: The tantrum I just had all by myself and Al Gore |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-11-07 10:40 AM by dave29
Apparantly I want Al Gore to run so badly that I will break down and throw a temper tantrum in my own house, with no one else around. I just learned this after reviewing his record, once again, in my head, knowing he is the man for the time, and not being able to deal with the fact that he isn't a candidate as of yet.
I began stamping my feet and wanting to throw objects around the house, and yelling "run AL!"
And now I think maybe I need to seek professional help, because the sentiment is still there, even though the tantrum has faded.
I've signed the petitions, I'm ready to work.
Run, Al.
Run.

I was channel surfing one Saturday not too long ago and happened on Gore doing a question and answer at some college on one of the Spans. As I watched him, I got gooseflesh and was overcome out of the blue with a strong wish that he run, almost to the point of tears. Weird stuff, but it passed.

Maybe other people, but not him.
A NAFTA proponent who ran with Lieberman of all people.

today there was a story in the paper about the NYT's ad, and once again they reiterate he won't run and I tear up.
