Guarantee it will be a Hillary/Obama ticket.
Hillary has the nomination sewn up...and she will
be wise enough to take Obama as a running mate.

Just a deep felt hunch !

If the inference is that Edwards would make a good VP candidate, well... just look at last time.
Couldn't even deliver his own state.

12. No inference about whether he would be a good choice or not
the inference is about whether he might be picked.
I think it is at least as likely as Obama being picked --- actually more likely because I seriously doubt that Hillary will take the kind of chance it would entail of both the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates being from a part of the populace that has never run for the big prize before (a woman and an African-American).

The couldn't deliver his own state is just ignorant snark as far as I'm concerned. The campaign had Kerry's name written all over it.

3. Might be why Obama isn't attacking Clinton the way...
...his online supporters do. That ticket's a winner, in my opinion, and would shake up Washington like no other.

5. He does seem reluctant to be overly confrontational with her..
can't say as I blame him. I agree, it would be a formidable team.

9. I dunno...I think it is more a case of if it just not being his style
than a backing off because of a possible VP slot. I agree that the ticket has a lot of promise though.

6. I'll bet ya everything in my piggy bank you're wrong!
But don't get too excited. It ain't much!

I actually think they would make a very good team. I just don't think Obama likes Hillary at all. Still. You don't have to like people to work with them... but I am thinking Hillary would be more likley to go with someone with more overall experience, like Biden, or solid military experience, like Clark.

It would be an interesting ticket though!

odds are 100:1 against.

Why would she not pick a current or former governor to secure Mid-western swing states?

If Clinton/Obama win in 2008, Congress turns Republican all over again in 2010. Say goodbye to the Arctic ice cap...

17. I don't know if Obama would do it, but it's certainly possible--
Richardson or Biden seem like natural choices, but would make her leery. They sometimes make gaffes and stick their feet in their mouths, and whomever she picks will have to withstand almost as much scrutiny as she--Obama's been through the fire, and scandal/embarrassment-wise, he's clean, and also an excellent speech-maker and debater. He wouldn't let her down or stumble in any significant way, so he's in the running, I'll bet. Her top criteria will probably be: professionalism, competence, and a low-key but safe presence on the trail.

and I think Clark will be on almost any candidates short list for VP.
