Poll question: What nation is most likely to use a nuke (overtly or covertly) on another in the next 5 years? |
|

I'd be interested to take DU's pulse on this question. (By 'nation' I mean that national power from which the nuke was obtained, if an NGO uses it.)

1. Sadly, it's probably the same one that's done it already. |

2. It's interesting to consider as our 'leaders' wag fingers at others. |

I gotta wonder.
At the same time. I suspect there're folks on (sites that shall not be named) who might get some amusement from this poll, despite the FACT that it's the insane RIGHT WING from which we hear the advocacy for nuking another country. (Hagee, Malkin, Coulter, et. al.) That certainly wouldn't preclude the mental disconnect of flinging feces at 'lihbruls' for having the temerity to think the US would be most likely.

5. I'd have to think it would be an NGO, |
|
as state actors are generally rational when it comes to their own destruction in a nuclear holocaust. And Russia's got more unaccounted-for nukes than anyone else, so I'm going with them.

8. I don't think it will be a nation that uses the bomb next. |
|
But, if I were to hazard a guess to the origin of that bomb, I would say the Soviet Union, especially during the transition to independent republics (Georgia, Russia, etc)

It sorta makes one wonder who should (assuming there were ANY legitimacy) be attacking whom preemptively, huh? :eyes:

Sadly, it's looking more and more like a certain watershed event in Manhattan was nuclear powered.
