Is this why Democrats are pushing the resolution on Turkey? |
|
If Turkey closes their airspace to us and makes us close our base there wouldn't it be much harder for us to stay in Iraq or attack Iran?

Nearly every nation on this earth has conducted some form of crime against humanity...we would spend a long time passing resolutions. Why single out Turkey!?

Maybe because they keep denying it?
And they don't think "everybody does it" is a good excuse?

8. You happen to know about this one. Check out Thomas occasionally, it's done all the time. |
|
And our Armenian ambassador has been shipped home by Condi for calling it a genocide, which it is.
If you'd like, I'll introduce you to my very nice Armenian neighbors for more explanation...

If they did this on purpose.
Bottom line, this will end the Iraq occupation. Turkey is going to cut off our supply routes to Iraq. They will start moving in to northern Iraq and start shelling. There is absolutely not ONE thing the US can do about it. Except beg them to stay out of Iraq.
But the Turks have had it - you can tell.

14. We pass symbolic resolutions all the time. |
|
Several a day. This one was presumably thought up on behalf of some Armenian constituents, it started to get a little press, and now it's a matter of pride for both Congress and Turkey.
That's my take, at least. I could be wrong. I'd love to see a real explanation.
