Did you just listen to Lou Dobbs' heated argument with Gen. Grange? |
|
WOW! All the other show hosts give Gen. David Grange more or less a free pass, but Lou sure didn't tonight!
Lou was complaining about being in Iraq and NOBODY has any suggestions on how we will attain victory! Grange was praising the military troops, and told Lou he should ask a politician. Lou barked back, I wouldn't give you ONE CENT for anybody in this administration, the Congress OR the Pentagon, and I sure haven't heard any plans from any Generals on how we're going to win this thing either!
These kind of barbs flew at each other for about 10 minutes!

1. I love Lou! I think I've heard that after Larry King, his show is the most |
|
watched on CNN - I sure hope so because he covers a lot of important issues.

|
incompetence of the FDA! He's REALLY on a roll tonight!

4. Yesterday, Larry, Anderson and Wolf all beat Lou... |
|
IT's real easy to stand on the sidelines and critisize everyone and anyone...
He reminds me of that grumpy old man character from SNL back in the 90's...

not that I agree with him on alot. I just think he'd be better than most I've seen so far, especially Blitzer.

12. I can't think why not. |
|
I think at least Dobbs would actually be interested in asking and listening to their answers to pertainent questions, unlike the Blitzers and the Russerts who seem to think that they are the stars of the show, or the hypothetical controversies and gotcha moments they try to create.

16. I agree LOU would do a GREAT JOB as a moderator, but |
|
there are very few candidates on either side who don't ty to dodge the questions with a non answer. I don't think Lou would let them get away with that!

9. See my post #3. I think we posted at the same time! |

I have to say, I'm glad to hear at least a few TV hosts are losing patience with the way our Govt is being run. Hell, the rest of us have been pissed off like that for a LONG TIME!

13. No, he side-stepped their cowards retreat argument |
|
And slammed right into their alleged stay the course for victory claim. He went toe to toe with their arrogant belittling attitude and tore it apart.
