Is chest massage by a dentist legitimate care?
State: Dentist Put "Public in Great Danger"

While the state argues a Woodland dentist accused of groping more than two dozen female patients puts "the public in great danger," the dentist's lawyer defends chest massages as legitimate care.

Those arguments were made during an administrative hearing Thursday, where the State Dental Board is asking to continue the temporary license suspension against Dr. Mark Anderson, a prominent Woodland dentist. Anderson's license was temporarily suspended last month, after he was charged with one count of misdemeanor sexual battery against a patient.

Since that arrest, Woodland police say a total of 27 women have come forward with similar allegations. Since then, detectives have forwarded at least two other cases to the district attorney, asking for felony charges, according to documents filed in the suspension hearing.

But Anderson's attorney cited medical literature that in the treatment of TMJ, temporal mandibular joint disorder, massaging of other muscles, including the chest and calf, can help the pain.

Asked later about the defense of massages for TJM treatment, Phillips called it "creative."

4. Uh, okay, let's say, just for the sake of argument

that his attorney is quoting fact

But Anderson's attorney cited medical literature that in the treatment of TMJ, temporal mandibular joint disorder, massaging of other muscles, including the chest and calf, can help the pain.

"We're not making this out of whole cloth," said attorney Bob Zaro.

Even a licensed masseuse will ask first before massaging those pieces parts we associate with sex. A dentist had better have something signed in blood.

Next, does he provide the same service for his male TMJ patients?

And lastly, cuz I'm in that kind of mood, I read his attorney's name as bazarro.

edit because I still don't know how to spell argument.
